The Department of Military Veterans has observed that most Military Veterans call for healthcare when they are already too sick and without proper authorisation to access the SAMHS health facilities.
In order to ensure prevention of ill-health, early detection and treatment of illness, as well as ensuring that healthcare is given to qualifying Military Veterans, the Department of Military Veterans is pleased to announce that it will be issuing healthcare cards as well as provide free health screening to targeted Military Veterans throughout the nine (9) provinces.
The Military Veterans Health and Wellness Initiative will take place from 09:00 until 16:00 on the following dates:
