Draft Military Veterans Pension Regulations

In accordance with section 24 of the Military Veterans Act, 2011, the Draft Military Veterans Pension Regulations, 2025, are hereby published for public comment.

The Regulations are intended to be made by the Minister of Defence and Military Veterans in terms of section 24, read with section 5(1)(k) and the definition of “prescribed” in section 1 of the Act.

Interested persons or organisations are hereby invited to submit written comments on the draft regulations before Monday the 25th of August 2025. Comments must be forwarded to the Director: Legal Services.
