Draft Military Veterans Burial Support Regulations

Publication of Draft Military Veterans Burial Support Regulations for public comment

In accordance with section 24 of the Military Veterans Act, 2011, the Draft Burial Support Regulations, 2025, are hereby published for public comment.

The Regulations are intended to be made by the Minister of Defence and Military Veterans in terms of section 24, read with section 5(1)(k) and the definition of “prescribed” in section 1 of the Act.

Interested persons or organisations are hereby invited to submit written comments on the draft regulations before Sunday the 13^th of July 2025. Comments must be forwarded to the Director: Legal Services.
