The Department of Military Veterans' Benefits Regulations

The Director General of the Department of Military Veterans, Mr Tsepe Motumi will on Friday, 7 March 2014 brief members of the media on the military veterans’ benefits regulations. The Military Veterans Benefits Regulations (MVBR) have now officially been gazetted which paves the way for accelerated delivery of benefits to Military Veterans.

Gazette No 37355 dated 19 February 2014 stipulates clear guidelines for the roll out of all benefits to Military Veterans’ as prescribed in the Gazette.

The Director General will announce benefits which will be rolled out in strategic spending of the 300 Million Rand, the Treasury has allocated to the Department of Military Veterans in line with the Military Veterans Act 18 of 2011.
