Call centre for Military Veterans goes live

The Department of Military Veterans has set up a new call centre for Military Veterans. The number is 080 2323 244. It will ensure easy, quick and free access for Military Veterans to information, pertaining to services and benefits due to them.

The call centre goes live as from today, the 01st April 2014. The Director General, Mr Tsepe Motumi will inform Military Veterans, the public and all stakeholders about the  call centre and benefits to Military Veterans’ in a phone in programme, which will be linked to 65 community radio stations nationwide, today at 18h15.

“This call centre will assist the Department of Military Veterans to deliver services to Military Veterans faster and smarter. It is a service that Military Veterans have been asking for, over the past few years. We are happy that at last we are addressing the long awaited service for information about Military Veterans benefits and any other relevant information. We call upon Military Veterans, their dependents and all other stakeholders to take advantage of this opportunity” said the Director General, Mr Tsepe Motumi.

The call centre will officially be launched to the public on the 24 April 2014 at the Department of Military Veterans offices in Pretoria.
