The Director General of the Department of Military Veterans Ms Irene Mpolweni, will brief the media on the progress made in the acceleration of education support for military veterans and their dependents, the Security and Peace training course that is being offered to 149 Military Veterans at the Koeberg Training Centre.
The DG will brief the media about the soon to be launched database system, the Integrated Database Management System (IDMS) which will ensure a credible, secure and reliable system for service and benefits of military veterans and the progress report of the Presidential Task Team on Military Veteran’s.
The Director General will also brief the media about programmes that are put in place for skills development, business support, and heritage and memorialization for military veterans.
