Planned Housing Delivery per province

The Department of Military Veterans has planned to deliver more than 1900 houses during this financial year of which some are a backlog from the previous financial year.

The Department has an agreement with the Department of Human Settlements to deliver a 50 sqm to military veterans who are not employed or those who do not earn enough to afford to buy themselves a house.

The following are areas where the said houses will be constructed, some are already in construction phase other in planning. The Department has already transferred R78 mill for these house as well as R164 mil has been set aside for the financial year 2015/16 to cater for the houses.
