The Department of Military Veterans and South African Military Veterans Association (SAMVA) will host a meeting of military attachés from 14 Southern African Development Community (SADC) countries to discuss matters pertaining to military veterans.
The meeting will discuss cooperation, exchange of information and experiences as well as the SADC conference of Military Veterans which is due to be held in November this year.

The meeting is held against the backdrop of the 50th anniversary of the African Union (AU) as well as the drive by the (DMV) to accelerate service delivery to the military veterans.
