Roll out of Houses for Military Veterans

The Director General of the Department of Military Veterans’, Mr Max Ozinsky, will together with the Department of Human Settlement brief the Portfolio Committee of Defence and Military Veterans’, on plans to accelerate delivery of houses to military veterans. The briefing will take at place today (09 November) at 10:00 in the PCDMV, M314 Parliament – Cape Town.

The Department has in its annual performance plan for 2016/17 financial year, planned to deliver 1000 houses, and has set aside R138 million for that.

The has been challenges in delivering the planned target of 1000 houses, and the Department of Military Veterans and the Department of Human Settlement will outline plans and mechanisms put in place to overcome the challenges faced.
